The Endorsement Inquiry User-Defined Fields screen (GA820S06) displays your company-specific data stored on the endorsement. This screen allows for up to 24 fields: 4 each of 6 different field types. The literals for each of the 6 types are defined on a separate Reference File category.
o Type A - 4 alphanumeric fields, 25 characters each. These are referred to as long description fields. Literals are defined on category D97.
o Type B - 4 alphanumeric flag fields, 1 character each. These are referred to as flag fields. Literals are defined on category D96.
o Type C - 4 alphanumeric fields of 10 characters each. These are referred to as short description fields. Literals are defined on category D94.
o Type D - 4 alphanumeric fields of 2, 3, 4, and 5 characters. These are referred to as code description fields. Literals are defined on category D95.
o Type E - 4 numeric fields with 3 decimal positions (15 digits in all). These are referred to as three decimal fields. Literals are defined on category D99.
o Type F - 4 numeric fields with 0 decimals (15 digits in all). These are referred to as zero decimal fields. Literals are defined on category D98.
BLANKET ORDER NUMBER
Display only. Displays the blanket order number that this endorsement is associated with. Blanket orders set up the overall financial conditions applicable to a specific customer.
CONTRACT NUMBER
Display only. Displays the customer contract number. This is the number the bill-to customer uses to identify the blanket order contract.
BLANKET ORDER DATE
Display only. Displays the date the blanket order associated with this endorsement became valid.
ENDORSEMENT
Display only. Displays the number of the endorsement.
STATUS
Display only. Displays the status of this endorsement. Valid values are:
A - Active.
I - Inactive. The endorsement exists in the data base but cannot be associated to any release received.
D - To be deleted.
VALIDITY DATE
Display only. Displays the date this endorsement became or will become valid.
ITEM NUMBER/DESCRIPTION
Display only. Displays the number and description of the item associated with the item/ delivery point relationship or endorsement.
COMMENTS
Display only. Flag indicating whether comments exist for the endorsement.
TYPE A FIELDS
Display only. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D97. Field values are alphanumeric and up to 25 characters long.
TYPE B FIELDS
Display only. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D96. Field values are 1-character alphanumeric flags.
TYPE C FIELDS
Display only. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D94. Field values are alpha numeric and up to 10 characters long.
TYPE D FIELDS
Display only. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D95. Field values are alpha numeric and 2, 3, 4, and 5 characters long.
TYPE E FIELDS
Display only. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D99. Field values are numbers up to 15 significant digits with 3 decimal positions.
TYPE F FIELDS
Display only. The literals for these fields are defined on Reference File category D98. Field values are integers with up to 15 significant digits.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Displays the Endorsement Inquiry Comments screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exits this conversation and displays the application menu.
F5 - Returns you to the screen previously displayed.
F9 - Calls the Endorsement Maintenance conversation directly. This allows you to add and maintain endorsements and associated detail information. You must return to the inquiry conversation by pressing F3=Exit before you can enter another conversation.
F10 - Returns to the Endorsement Inquiry Function Select screen.
F18 - Displays the previous endorsement for the item/delivery point relationship.
F19 - Displays the next endorsement for the item/delivery point relationship.
