Issuer AEACO-CUST1-ISSUER-*
F2=Command F3=Exit F4=Prompt F9=Maintenance
The request issuer number displayed in this conversation identifies the requesters of deliveries in the Synchro module. For customers using EDI to send delivery requests, this is the industry assigned EDI address. For customers not using EDI, this is the number used during Delivery Request Maintenance to identify the customer.
For VDA processing, the Sender EDI number includes the VDA customer and VDA supplier number from VDA segment 511. The first nine characters of the eighteen character field are reserved for the VDA customer number (field 51103). The following nine characters are reserved for the VDA supplier number (field 51104). According to the VDA/4905 standard, both values have to be left justified and alphanumeric. (Example: CUST01bbbSUPP01bbb where "b" equals a space) The system uses the Sender EDI number as a unique key to access the EDI numbers file where the VDA transmission numbers are maintained.
VDA transmission numbers include:
o Current and last delivery request transmission number and dates;
o Current and last detailed delivery request transmission number and dates;
o Current and last VDA invoice transmission number and dates;
o Current and last dispatch advice transmission number and dates.
