A consolidation point is an intermediate delivery location between the vendor and the customer. The Consolidation Point Maintenance Detail Screen (GA170S02) allows you to add, change, or delete information for the consolidation point you entered on the Function Select screen.
CONSOLIDATION POINT NUMBER
Display only. Displays the consolidation point number you entered on the Function Select screen.
CONSOLIDATION POINT NAME
Required. Enter the name for the consolidation point.
CONSOLIDATION POINT ADDRESS
Required. The address for the consolidation point. The address fields may be displayed in free-form format or US format. The address format is determined on Reference File category 133.
CITY
Required if US address format is used. The city where the consolidation point is located. This field is displayed only if US address format is used.
STATE CODE
Required if US address format is used. The state where the consolidation point is used. This field is displayed only if US address format is used. Valid values are defined on Reference File category 326.
ZIP CODE
Required if US address format is used. The postal zip code in the mailing address of the consolidation point. This field is displayed only if US address format is used.
COUNTRY
Required. The country where the consolidation point is located. Valid values are defined on Reference File category 007.
DOCK
Optional. Indicates a specific delivery pier at this consolidation point. No validation is performed on this field.
CONTACT
Optional. Indicate the name of the person to contact at the consolidation point.
TELEPHONE
Optional. The telephone number where the contact can be reached.
EXTENSION
Optional. The telephone extension where the contact can be reached.
TELEX
Optional. The number where telexes can be sent to the groupage point.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Validates the entered data. If valid, the detail screen is displayed.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Allows you to exit the screen without updating the entered data.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Calls the Groupage Point Inquiry conversation directly. This allows you to view existing groupage point information. You must return to the maintenance conversation by pressing F3=Exit before you can enter another conversation. Any information you have typed on the current screen will still be displayed when you return from the inquiry because you will not have exited the maintenance conversation.
F10 - Returns to the Groupage Point Function Select screen.
F15 - Nullifies user entries, retrieves the original data, if any, and allows re-entry of data.
