Labels Report
GA520A, KC520A, KC525A
Purpose
Labels generated through the Synchro module and Customer KANBAN identify the contents of a shipment. Different information is printed on the labels depending on the type of label created. The Synchro module supports six types of labels:
1 - Packaging unit label. This label corresponds to the unit in which an item is packaged after manufacturing.
2 - Main handling unit label. This label corresponds to the method in which an item is handled and shipped.
3 - Simplified handling unit label. This label is a combination of the packaging unit label and main handling unit label. It is used when you package an item in the same unit in which you ship it.
4 - Mixed handling unit label. This label corresponds to shipments of mixed items.
5 - Simplified packaging unit label. This label corresponds to the label stapled on the packaging of small items. It is used to replace the packaging unit label (type 1) if it is too large for small items.
6 - KANBAN label. This label is used for Customer KANBAN shipments. This label type is valid only if Customer KANBAN is installed and can be printed in two forms: using the I.D.S. graphic card protocol (KC520A) or using the I.P.D.S. standard protocol (KC525A).
Refer to the Overview and User Procedures section of this manual for more information about labels, how they are generated, and how they are printed.
