Offset Releases

Offset releases must have a release status of "closed" to be deleted.

Endorsement Master and Endorsement Comments Master

·     Active endorsements cannot be purged.

·     Endorsements cannot be purged if the number of endorsements kept by the item/delivery point relationship (defined on Reference File category G19--Synchro Parameters) is not reached.  This count includes all active and inactive endorsements attached to a given item/delivery point.

·     The endorsement validity date plus the number of months required prior to purging an endorsement of deleted or inactive status (defined on category G19) must be less than or equal to the minimum of the horizon date and the actual date minus the number of months/endorsement.

Validity date + number of months/endorsement <= minimum (horizon date; today -    number of  months/endorsement

All the endorsement comments attached to the deleted endorsement are also purged.

Delivery Point Master

Delivery points must have a status of "closed" to be deleted.

Exception Dates

An exception date cannot be deleted if the customer delivery rules has the exception date flag set to yes.

The exception date must be less than or equal to the minimum of the horizon date and the actual date minus the number of months required prior to purging an exception date (defined on category G19).

Exception date <= minimum (horizon date; today - number of months/exception date.)

Blanket Order Master

Blanket orders must have a status of "closed" to be deleted.  Associated endorsements, endorsement comments and item/delivery point relationships are also purged.

Delivery Requests

·     A delivery request must have a status of "split" to be deleted.

·     The period end date of a delivery request release must be less than or equal to the minimum of the horizon date and the actual date minus the number of months required prior to purging a delivery request release of a closed status.

Period end date <= minimum (horizon date; today - number of months/delivery request)

All the offset releases related to a deleted delivery request are also purged.

·     A delivery request header and its comments can be deleted if no related delivery request releases are found.

Shipping Proposals

·     Shipping proposals must have a forwarding flag equal to 'yes'.

·     The delivery date must be less than or equal to the minimum of the horizon date and the actual date minus the number of months required prior to purging a shipping proposal (defined on category G19).

Delivery date + minimum (horizon date; today - number of months/shipping proposal)

All lines attached to a deleted shipping proposal are also purged.  All the shipping list headers, detail lines, and comments as well as all related labels are deleted.  All unassigned labels are deleted if they are older than the horizon period specified in category G19.  A label is unassigned if it is not used in an active shipping list, or if it is not used by a type 2 (main handling unit) label that is not used in an active shipping list.

Labels

·     Labels must not be used in shipments.

·     The delivery date must be less than or equal to the minimum of the horizon date and the actual date minus the number of months required prior to purging a label (defined on Reference File category G19).
