This screen displays the sales comparisons specified on the Function Select screen. Actual sales, forecast sales, and last year's actual forecast sales are represented by A, F, and L and displayed using bar-chart format. When in a multi-currency environment, the base currency for the current company/location is displayed in the upper right hand corner of the screen (for financial forecasts only).
COMPANY/LOCATION
Display only. Defines the company/location for the sales comparison being performed.
SELECT (1/2/3)
Optional. Used to determine the type of comparison to be selected. Valid values are:
1- Financial
2- Gross Margin Percent (G/M)
3- Statistical
After entering the valid value, the corresponding command key should be pressed to display the type of comparison desired.
PRODUCT CLASS
Display only. Shows the product class for which the sales comparisons are being displayed.
CUSTOMER CLASS
Display only. Shows the customer class for which the sales comparisons are being displayed.
SALESPERSON
Display only. Shows the salesperson for which the sales comparisons are being displayed.
SCALE
Display only. The scale in number of units of the graphic comparison.
ACTUAL UNITS/ACTUAL LAST UNITS
Display only. The number of actual units and the number last year's actual units.
ACTUAL GM/ACTUAL LAST GM
Display only. The number of actual gross margin sales and the number of last year's actual gross margin sales.
ACTUAL SALES/ACTUAL LAST SALES
Display only. The number of actual sales and the number last year's actual sales.
FORECAST UNITS/FORECAST LAST UNITS
Display only. The number of forecasted units and the number of the last year's forecasted units.
FORECAST GM/FORECAST LAST GM
Display only. The forecasted gross margin and last year's forecasted gross margin.
FORECAST SALES/FORECAST LAST SALES
Display only. The number of forecasted sales and the number of the last year's forecasted sales.
PERIOD
Display only. The number of the business period to which the sales numbers apply.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F5 - Displays a graphic comparison between the current forecast and last year's forecast values.
F6 - Displays a graphic comparison between actual and forecast values.
F8 - Displays a graphic comparison between actual and last year's values.
F10 - Returns to the Sales Analysis Inquiry Select screen.
