This screen is used to select the sales information to be displayed when a specific product class, customer class or salesperson has been entered. It displays all the possible choices by company/location. If a financial forecast is displayed in a multi-currency environment, the base currency for the company/location is displayed in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
COMPANY/LOCATION
Display only. Defines the company/location for the sales information to be displayed.
SELECTION
Optional. Enter an option in this field and press a command key to perform the desired function for the line item. Valid options for comparison are:
1 - Financial, 2 - Gross Margin, 3 - Statistical.
PRODUCT CLASS (Prd Cls)
Display only. When the product class code is required, all the valid codes existing for the specific company/ location on use are displayed.
CUSTOMER CLASS (Cst Cls)
Display only. When customer class code is required, all the valid codes existing for the specific company/ location on use are displayed.
SALESPERSON (Slpn)
When the salesperson code is required, all the valid codes existing for the specific company/location in use are displayed.
CURRENT PERIOD
Display only. Shows the current values by product class/customer class/salesperson for the current period. When the field contains negative values, the field will be highlighted.
FORECAST PERIOD
Display only. Shows the forecast values by product class/customer class/salesperson for the current period. When the field contains negative values, the field will be highlighted.
LAST YEAR PERIOD
Shows the last year values by product class/customer class/salesperson for the same period as the current period. When the field contains negative values, the field will be highlighted.
CURRENT YEAR TO DATE
Display only. Shows the current year to date values by product class/customer class/salesperson. When the field contains negative values, the field will be highlighted.
FORECAST YEAR TO DATE
Display only. Shows the forecast year to date forecast values by product class/customer class/salesperson. When the field contains negative values, the field will be highlighted.
LAST YEAR TO DATE
Shows the last year's year to date values by product class/customer class/salesperson. When the field contains negative values, the field will be highlighted.
OPTIONS (1/2/3)
Optional. Used to determine the type of comparison to be selected If entered, it should go in the first column preceding a particular class description. The valid value are:
1- Financial
2- Statistical
3- Gross Margin
After entering a valid value, the corresponding command key should be pressed to display the type of comparison desired.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F5 - Displays a graphic comparison between the current forecast and last year's forecast values.
F6 - Displays a graphic comparison between actual and forecast values.
F8 - Displays a graphic comparison between actual and last year's values.
