The Function Select screen is used to select the sales information to be displayed.
SELLING COMPANY/LOCATION
Required. The company/location field must exist as a valid entity on the Reference File (category 002). If all sales by options are left blank, total sales for the company/ location will be displayed.
PRODUCT CLASS
Optional. Used to display sales data by product class. If the product class code is entered, the Sales Analysis Detail Screen will be displayed with sales information for the selected product class. The product class code must exist on the Reference File (category 426). If an X is entered, the Sales Analysis Inquiry Selection Screen (SA810S02) is displayed listing all product class sales data for the specified forecast data type.
CUSTOMER CLASS
Optional. Used to display sales data by customer class. If a customer class code is entered, the Sales Analysis Detail Screen will be displayed with sales information for the selected customer class. The customer class code must exist on the Reference File (category 310).
If an X is entered, the Sales Analysis Inquiry Selection Screen (SA810S02) is displayed listing all customer class sales data for the specified forecast data type.
SALESPERSON
Optional. Used to display sales data by salesperson. If the salesperson code is entered, the Sales Analysis Detail Screen will be displayed with sales information for the selected salesperson. If entered, the salesperson code must exist on the Reference File (category 315). If an X is entered, the Sales Analysis Inquiry Selection Screen (SA810S02) is displayed listing all salesperson sales data for the specified forecast data type.
SALES FORECAST COMPARISON
Optional. Used to determine what type of sales data to compare. Three types of comparisons can be performed:
Actual/Forecast: Used to compare actual sales to forecast sales for the current year.
Actual/Last Year: Used to compare actual sales data for the current year to actual sales for the prior year.
Forecast/Last Year: Used to compare forecast sales for the current year to forecasted sales for the prior year. Only one type of comparison can be selected. If no selection criterion is entered, the default will be to compare actual versus forecasted financial data.
The valid values for each type of comparison are:
1- Financial
2- Gross Margin
3- Statistical (valid only for product class data)
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Sales Performance Inquiry program.
