Purpose
The Sales Analysis by Product Class Summary Report provides sales information by salesperson of the various product classes. Sales quantity, average unit price and extended sales amount for each period requested are listed. This report provides sales information by salesperson within each defined sales territory in order to analyze how well a product is selling in particular markets as well as salesperson performance.
Requests can be entered selecting specific ranges of territories, salespersons and product class codes in order to allow very specific analysis by region. The report allows the user to compare sales over a range of periods for the previous year to help analyze sales and performance trends of the various territories and salespersons.
In a multi-currency environment, the base currency and currency description are formatted in the upper left-hand corner of the report, just under the report number.
