Purpose
The Sales Analysis by Product Class, Product Subclass, Part Detail Report provides sales information by product class and product subclass to specific part numbers. The report lists the sales quantity, average unit price, sales amount, gross margin and gross margin percent for each period requested. This report provides sales information by part number within each defined product subclass to analyze sales performance by part number.
Requests can be entered selecting specific ranges of product class, product subclass to allow very specific analysis by product category. The user can compare sales over a range of periods for the current sales year to the same sales periods for the previous year. This will help analyze sales and performance trends of the various product subclass and parts. The detail report can also be used to analyze which parts are most profitable within specific product subclasses.
In a multi-currency environment, the base currency and currency description are formatted in the upper left-hand corner of the report, just under the report number.
