Purpose
The Sales Analysis by Product Class, Customer Detail Report provides sales information by product to specific customers. Sales quantity, average unit price and extended sales amount for each period requested are listed. This report provides sales information by salesperson within each defined sales territory to analyze sales performance by salesperson.
Requests can be entered selecting specific ranges of territories, salespersons and Product Class Codes to allow very specific analysis by region. The user may compare sales over a range of periods for the current sales year to the same sales periods for the previous year. This will help analyze sales and performance trends of the various territories and salespersons. The detail report can also be used to analyze which customers are buying particular products to help evaluate various marketing techniques and trends.
In a multi-currency environment, the base currency and currency description are formatted in the upper left-hand corner of the report, just under the report number.
