Purpose
The Sales Analysis by Customer Class Detail Report provides sales information by customer listing the total sales amount, quantity, and gross margin for each period requested. This report groups customers by defined customer class codes to analyze sales performance for different customer classes. This report can also be selected by entering a range of customer class codes.
To make the report easier to use, similar customer types should be given similar customer class codes. Selecting the report for a range of customer class codes will allow the user to perform sales analysis on selected high volume customers.
In a multi-currency environment, the base currency and currency description are formatted in the upper left-hand corner of the report, just under the report number.
