Considerations

Although many different forecasts for a particular forecast type are available, only one forecast should be identified as the forecast used for analysis.

Loaded Forecast

The one forecast that should be identified as the forecast used for analysis is the loaded forecast.  The loaded forecast can be changed as many times as desired.  You do this by maintaining the loaded forecast flag associated with each forecast in Sales Forecast Maintenance.  All forecasts displayed in reports and in Sales Analysis Inquiry are loaded forecasts.
