Comparing Actual Sales to Forecast

The Sales Analysis Inquiry conversation allows you to compare actual sales to forecasted sales. You can choose to display sales data from one of the following aggregate groups:

· Product class

· Customer class

· Salesperson

The conversation then provides you with the option to compare actual sales to forecasted sales, this year's sales to last year's sales, or this year's forecast to last year's forecast. Each of these comparisons can be viewed in a high-level tabular format (Sales Analysis - Tabular Format, below) or in a more detailed, bar-chart display (Sales Analysis - Bar-chart Display, below).
