A requisition created manually or by the Expert Configurator has a status of released (R). It can be canceled (status changed to K) only if no part of the requisition has been covered by a purchase order. A requisition can be closed (status changed to C) only if the uncovered percent quantity is less than the Close Tolerance Percent specified for the purchasing group of the part on Reference File category 482 or, if blank, specified on the Purchasing Company Location record (category D32) on the Reference File.
If at any time the requisition amount (calculated as the sum of the Requisition Line Quantity multiplied by the Unit Cost) exceeds the Requisition Amount Limit specified on the Purchasing System Defaults 1 record on Reference File category 491, the status is set by the system to firm planned (F).
