Statistics Processing

Purchasing statistics are maintained by the system for three indicators:

·     Delivery Performance:  During receipt processing, counters are maintained for recording on-time, early, and late deliveries.

·     Price Performance:  Amounts are maintained for received goods at standard cost and at actual unit cost on the purchase order.  Variances are calculated and displayed on reports and inquiries.

·     Quality Performance:  Quantities are maintained for accepted, rework, rejected, and return classifications.

The system automatically maintains these statistics.  After performing certain preprocessing setup steps, the user need only perform two functions:  post statistics once each period, and request purchasing statistics reports as needed.
