This screen allows you to view price list detail information.
Note that all base prices entered on the price list will be used in place of the part's base price (as defined in the Warehouse Balance File). This means that any discounts that apply to an order using this price list will deduct the discount amount from the price indicated here rather than the part's warehouse balance price.
CURRENCY
Display only. Indicates the currency associated with this price list. This field is only displayed in multi-currency environments.
PRICE LIST
Display only. Identifies the price list you are currently maintaining. This is the price list code that you entered on the Function Select screen.
PRICE LIST DESCRIPTION
Display only. Indicates a short description of the price list being maintained. This description will display whenever the price list code is used on application screens and/or when you press F4 - Prompt on this price list field.
HEADER STATUS
Display only. Indicates the status of the entire price list. Possible values are active and inactive. When entered, the price list's status automatically defaults to active. If you deactivate the price list, this field will display inactive.
COMMENTS FLAG
Display only. Indicates whether there are comments related to this price list. The flag will display Y (yes) if comments exist; otherwise, the flag will display N (no). You may enter comments to be associated with the entire price list or for a specific price list line. If the flag displays N and you wish to enter price list comments, press the F12 - Comments key. If you wish to enter comments for a specific line, select the line with an X and then press the F12 - Comments key. Once comments are entered, the system will update this flag to Y.
AS OF DATE
Display only. Indicates the as of date that you entered on the Function Select screen. If you are adding a price list and an as of date was not entered on the Function Select screen, it will default to today's date. This field is used as a horizon date; if entered, the screen only displays price list lines that are effective on or after the specified date. This feature is useful if you have a part which is listed multiple times on the price list each with a different base price and effectivity date.
POSITION TO
Optional. Enter an alphanumeric character or part number if you wish to reposition to that location with the line detail records.
SELECT
Optional. Enter an X in this field if you wish to select a part/price record for further processing.
LINE STATUS
Display only. Indicates the status of the part/price line. If a line is inactive, it will be displayed in reverse image. Valid values are defined on Reference File category G70. As lines are added to the price list, they automatically have a status of active. You may change the status to inactive by entering an I in this field. The line will then be ineligible but will still be displayed. If you want to delete the line from the price list, enter a D in this field. The line will then be deleted and will no longer display in the price list.
PART NUMBER
Display only. Indicates the part number associated with the price list. If entered, the part must be active on the Part Master File.
PART DESCRIPTION
Display only. Indicates the description associated with the part. The part's description can be changed in the Part Master Maintenance conversation.
BASE PRICE
Display only. Indicates the base price associated with the part. This value of this field overrides the part's base price (as defined in the Warehouse Balance File). This means that any discounts that apply to an order using this price list will deduct the discount amount from this base price rather than the part's warehouse balance price.
START DATE
Display only. Indicates the date this line becomes effective. If you entered a default start date on the Function Select screen, it will transfer to each line's start date but can be manually overridden. If you leave this field blank, it will default to today making the line effective immediately.
PRICE LIST UNIT OF MEASURE
Display only. Indicates the unit of measure used specifically for this price list. Valid units of measure are defined on Reference File category 005. Note that this unit of measure is only applicable as it relates to the unit base price entered for the part. The price list unit of measure is not the same as the pricing unit of measure, which is used on sales orders. If nothing is entered, this field will default to the pricing unit of measure associated with the part's product class or the selling unit of measure as defined on the Part Master File.
APPLY DISCOUNT FLAG
Display only. Indicates whether discounts can be applied to this line. Valid values are: Y (yes, allow discounts to be applied against this base price) or N (no, do not allow discounts to be applied to this line). This field defaults to Y.
PRICE BREAK FLAG
Display only. Indicates whether or not price breaks there are price breaks associated with this line. This field defaults to Y. If you wish to enter or maintain price breaks, press F5 to display the Price Break screen.
