The Distribution Control Maintenance Add screen allows you to control the data that is being exchanged between a particular database and the host system.
REMOTE DATABASE ID
Required. This field uniquely identifies each remote database that uses the Data Exchange Facility. This field is the primary key to the Distribution Control Master File.
REMOTE DATABASE VERSION
Optional. This field contains the current version of data the remote database is running on.
SALESPERSON 1
Optional. This field contains the salesperson who serves the customer. This salesperson defaults from the MACPAC.INI file and can be changed on the Distribution Master File.
LAST DIAL-IN DATE
Optional. This field contains the date of the last successful data exchange session.
LAST DIAL-IN TIME
Optional. This field contains the time of the last successful data exchange session.
DAYS TO RETAIN ORDERS
Optional. This field determines how many days of orders to download from the host to the remote database. Default information for this field is located in Reference File Category G90.
BASE FOR RETAIN
Optional. This field determines which date is used to calculate the days to retain order. Valid values are 'P' for Promised Ship Date and 'O' for Order Date. Default information for this field is located in Reference File Category G90.
ORDER ENTRY AUTHORITY
Optional. This field indicates whether or not you have authority to enter orders.
Y - Yes, you have authority to enter orders.
N - No, you do not have authority to enter orders.
CREDIT HISTORY AUTHORITY
Optional. This field indicates whether or not you have authority to view the customer's credit aging draft.
Y - Yes, you can view the customer's credit aging draft.
N - No, you cannot view the customer's credit aging draft.
CUSTOMER INFORMATION AUTHORITY
Optional. This field indicates whether or not you have authority to view the customer's details, such as ship-to and bill-to information.
Y - Yes, you can view the customer's detail information.
N - No, you cannot view the customer's detail information.
CUSTOMER COMMENTS AUTHORITY
Optional. This field indicates whether or not you can view bill-to and ship-to comments.
Y - Yes, you can view bill-to and ship-to comments.
N - No, you cannot view the bill-to and ship-to comments.
PASSWORD
Required. This field contains the user's password.
RULE ENTRY AUTHORITY
Optional. This field indicates whether or not you can maintain/view rules from the remote location.
Y - Yes, you can maintain/view rules from the remote location.
I - You can view but not maintain rules.
N - No, you cannot maintain/view rules from the remote location.
MATRIX ENTRY AUTHORITY
Optional. This field indicates whether or not you can maintain/view matrix information from the remote location.
Y - Yes, you can maintain/view matrix information.
N - No, you cannot maintain/view matrix information.
TEMPLATE ENTRY AUTHORITY
Optional. This field indicates whether or not you can maintain/view template information from the remote location.
Y - Yes, you can maintain/view template information.
I - You can view but not maintain template information.
N - No, you cannot maintain/view template information.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menus.
F4 - Used to list valid values for fields prompted.
F10 - Used to display the Distribution Control Maintenance Function Select screen without performing any processing.
F15 - Used to clear fields so they can reentered.
