This screen allows you to maintain user-defined detail information for the discount you entered on the Function Select screen. There is no system-supplied validation for these fields. The screen literals associated with these fields are maintainable in Reference File categories D94, D95, D96, D97, D98, and D99.
CURRENCY
Display only. Indicates the currency in which this discount is defined. This field is only displayed in a multi-currency environment.
DISCOUNT TYPE
Display only. Indicates the type of discount you are maintaining. The value of this field automatically defaults depending on the type of discount you entered on the Function Select screen. Possible values are volume, header, and line.
START DATE
Display only. Indicates the date this discount becomes effective.
STATUS
Display only. Indicates the status of this discount. Possible values are active and inactive. If a discount is active, it is eligible to be used on sales and/or quote orders. If a discount is inactive, it must be reactivated before it can be applied to orders.
DISCOUNT CODE
Display only. Indicates the unique code that identifies this discount. Note that line discounts are identified by a combination of discount code and version number. If you are maintaining a line discount, this field will display both the discount code and the associated version number.
END DATE
Display only. Indicates the expiration date of this discount as defined on the detail screen. If a valid date was not entered, this discount will continue to be valid until an end date is specified.
COMMENTS FLAG
Display only. Indicates whether there are comments related to this discount. The flag will display Y (yes) if comments exist; otherwise, the flag will display N (no). If the flag displays N and you wish to enter comments, press the F12 - Comments key. Once comments are entered, the system will update this flag to Y.
DISCOUNT DESCRIPTION
Display only. Indicates the short description associated with the discount being maintained.
USER DEFINED FIELDS - GROUP 1
Optional. Indicates the value of the user-defined fields (25 alphanumeric). The screen literals associated with these fields default from Reference File category D97. These fields are used for informational purposes only; there is no validation.
USER DEFINED FIELDS - GROUP 2
Optional. Indicates the value of the user-defined flags (value must be Y or N). The screen literals associated with these flags default from Reference File category D96. These fields are used for informational purposes only; there is no validation.
USER DEFINED FIELDS - GROUP 3
Optional. Indicates the value of the user-defined fields (9 alphanumeric). The screen literals associated with these fields default from Reference File category D94. These fields are used for informational purposes only; there is no validation.
USER DEFINED FIELDS - GROUP 4
Optional. Indicates the value of the user-defined codes (2-5 alphanumeric). The screen literals associated with these codes default from Reference File category D95. These fields are used for informational purposes only; there is no validation.
USER DEFINED FIELDS - GROUP 5
Optional. Indicates the value of the user-defined fields (12 numeric with 3 decimal places). The screen literals associated with these fields default from Reference File category D99. These fields are used for informational purposes only; there is no validation.
USER DEFINED FIELDS - GROUP 6
Optional. Indicates the value of the user-defined fields (15 numeric). The screen literals associated with these fields default from Reference File category D98. These fields are used for informational purposes only; there is no validation.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process the data entered on the screen.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen without processing the entered data.
F12 - Display the Comments screen.
F15 - Clear all fields that you have just entered in order to enter new data.
