The Function Select by product is the first screen to be displayed in the Contract Price Inquiry Conversation. This screen identifies the product class or part number for which a range of prices is requested. Additionally, optional criteria of a horizon effectivity date may also be entered.
PRODUCT CLASS
Required (if Part Number is blank). This field is used to request a range of prices for the group of products entered. Either the Product Class or Part Number must be entered, but not both.
PART NUMBER
Required (if Product Class is blank). This field is used to request a range of prices for the product number entered. Either the Product Class or Part Number must be entered, but not both.
HORIZON EFFECTIVITY DATE
Optional. All contract price records are displayed on the detail screen for either the Product Class or Part Number that was entered. The Effectivity Date will be highlighted for any records which have not yet come into effect for this horizon date. The Expiration Date will be highlighted for any records which have already gone out of effect for this horizon date. The date must be a valid, numeric date or 'ALL'. A horizon date of ALL may be entered to display the range of all price records for the product class or part specified without highlighting the effectivity or expiration dates. The default value for this field is blank.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Used to list valid values for field prompted.
F9 - Enter the Contract Price Maintenance program.
F10 - Display the Contract Price Inquiry by Customer screen.
