This screen displays general information about a manufacturing order and availability information about each component required to complete that order. It also displays the calculated balance due and scrap rate for the order.
The information displayed on this screen is maintained within the Inventory Control and Shop Floor modules. All fields are display only.
PLANT
Display only. The plant in which the inquiry is being performed.
ORDER NUMBER
Display only. The manufacturing order whose information is displayed. This order number was specified on the Function Select screen.
JOB NUMBER
Display only. The job associated with the manufacturing order.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The part number of the item being manufactured.
PART DESCRIPTION
Display only. The description of the item being manufactured.
UNIT OF MEASURE
Display only. The stockkeeping unit of measure, which should be used to interpret quantities displayed on the screen.
CONFIGURATION CODE
Display only. This is the configuration code assigned to the specified part you are maintaining.
CUSTOMER
Display only. The number and name of the customer who placed the sales orders that are being filled through the listed manufacturing activity.
COMPANY
Display only. The company on the general ledger where the customer is defined.
LOCATION
Display only. The location on the general ledger where the customer is defined.
ORDER STATUS
Display only. The status of the manufacturing order. Possible values are:
P - Planned
F - Firmed
O - Open
C - Closed
Z - Accounting Closed.
The schedule for a firm order has been set. An open order has actually been released to the shop floor.
ORDER DATE
Display only. The date on which the manufacturing order was created.
ORDER QUANTITY
Display only. The number of units to be produced.
ORDER TYPE
Display only. Displays the type of manufacturing order. Valid values are MFG (manufacturing) and RWK (rework).
ORDER START DATE
Display only. The date on which work for the order is scheduled to start.
QUANTITY RECEIVED
Display only. The number of completed units received into inventory.
PLANNER CODE
Display only. The planner in the production control department who is responsible for the item. Planner codes are defined on Reference File category 235.
ORDER DUE DATE
Display only. The last date on which finished items are scheduled to be received into inventory for this order.
BALANCE DUE
Display only. The number of units ordered less those not yet received into inventory.
SHOP PAPERWORK CODE
Display only. Indicates what reports (shop paperwork) will be printed when the order is opened. Possible values are P (pick list only), M (manufacturing order only), B (both pick list and manufacturing order), and N (neither).
DATE CLOSED
Display only. The date on which the order was closed. If the order is not yet closed, 00/00/00 is displayed in this field.
YIELD FACTOR
Display only. The yield loss that is expected for the item. It is the percentage of the ordered quantity that is typically scrapped in the manufacturing process. The yield factor is defined on the item's Part Master File record within Design Engineering.
ORDER POLICY
Display only. Indicates what lot sizing rules are used to determine the timing and quantity of orders created for the item. The order policy code is defined for each part on the Part Master File, within Design Engineering. Possible values are A/R (as required), F/T (fixed time), F/Q (fixed quantity), and P/C (physical control).
DATE OF LAST ACTIVITY
Display only. The date when the most recent activity of any kind was reported against the order.
ACTUAL SCRAP RATE
Display only. The percentage of the ordered quantity that has been scrapped to date. This value is calculated by the Shop Floor Module as follows:
(Cumulative Scrap divided by Order Quantity) times 100.
Cumulative scrap is the total of all scrap recorded for this manufacturing order at all operations.
SELECT
Optional. Type an 'X' in this field and press Enter to display the Manufacturing Order Status by Job - Select screen (JC820S01).
COMPONENT PART NUMBER/DESCRIPTION
Display only. A component required to manufacture the ordered part. Components are defined on the parent part's product structure record (within Design Engineering).
ISSUE CODE
Display only. Indicates how issues of this component are recorded in the system. Possible values are:
R - Requisition issue method. A material issue transaction must be entered for this component.
S - Simultaneous issue and receipt method. The issue of this component is recorded automatically when the manufactured item is received.
T - JIT Multi-Level Backflushing Method. The issue and receipt of a component part, or a stock transfer of the component part, occurs when a flow receipt or a manufacturing order receipt is entered against the parent. Issue and receipts occur for manufactured parts (2). Stock transfers occur for transfer parts (8).
COMPONENT STATUS
Display only. Indicates whether this component has already been issued to or received from the manufacturing process. Possible values are:
O - Open. A consumed component has not yet been issued. A produced component has not yet been received.
C - Closed. A consumed component has been issued. A produced component has been received.
X - Canceled. This component is no longer required or expected.
USAGE CODE
Display only. Indicates whether the component is consumed (C) in making the parent or whether it is produced (P) in making the parent.
REQUIRED QUANTITY
Display only. The expected requirement for the component. This quantity is calculated based on the order quantity for the parent item, the Quantity Per Batch field on the product structure record, and component's scrap factor.
QUANTITY ISSUED
Display only. The quantity of the component that has been issued to the order to date.
BALANCE TO ISSUE
Display only. The quantity of the component remaining to be issued. It is the required quantity minus the quantity issued.
CONFIGURATION CODE
Display only. This is the configuration code associated with the component part shown.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Return to Function Select screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program. If this screen was accessed from another conversation, pressing F3 will return you to that original conversation.
F18 - Calls the standard Comment Master Maintenance Program (CF190E) to add comments for the manufacturing order.
