This screen is used to setup or change jobs in a Job Shop environment and to relate jobs to sale order(s) or to sales order line(s).
JOB NUMBER
For option 1:
o Required if the job already exists.
o Required if the job is new and job numbers are assigned manually.
o Optional if the job is new and job numbers are assigned automatically. Must be blank for option 2. Required for option 3.
The number used to identify the job throughout the system.
SALES ORDER NUMBER
Required (Options 1 and 2). Must be blank (Option 3). The sales order associated with this job. The sales order number must already exist in order to assign a job number to it. To assign a job number to a blanket order release, a release number must be entered.
OPTION
Required. Valid options are 1,2, or 3. The code specifying the type of maintenance to be performed.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process transaction.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without updates.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Display the Job Number Inquiry Select screen.
F11 - Used to access the Job Comments Maintenance conversation.
