Purpose

This report lists all the rules released by a specific rule. All comments entered for the rule will also be printed if requested.

The logical level each rule is contained in is displayed under the LEVEL heading.

To request Bill of Rules reports:

1. Select the Expert Configurator option on the System Application Menu.

2. Select either the Sales Order Entry Bill of Rules Report Request, the Pricing Bill of Rules Report Request, or the Manufacturing Bill of Rules Report Request on the Expert Configurator Application Menu to display the Sales Order entry Bill of Rules Report Request screen, the Pricing Bill of Rules Report Request screen, or the Manufacturing Bill of Rules Report Request screen, respectively.

3. Enter the releasing rule in the Releasing Rule field. Must be a valid sales order entry rule on the Rule Master File and release at least one other rule.

4. Enter a Y or N in the Print Immediately field. If N is specified, the report prints when released from the Release Submitted Jobs option. If Y is specified, the report will print immediately, eliminating the need to release it.

5. Enter the user-defined requestor of this report. No validation is performed on this field. See the Bill of Rules Report Request screen (EC310S02) in the Screens Section of this manual for more information.

6. Submit the pending report for execution if the Print Immediately flag is N.

a. Select the Release Submitted Jobs option from the System Application Menu.

b. Enter an X in the Bill of Rules Report input field to submit the job for execution.

7. The report lists either all subsequent sales order entry rules, pricing rules, or manufacturing rules (depending on the report generated) released by the rule entered in the Releasing Rule field.

Report Sequence

Rule Number, Version Number, Part Number
