Rule Detail Information

Rule detail information defines the syntax of the rule.  Syntax is the structure used to write the rule.  The rule detail defines the specific action this rule is to perform.

Rules are plant specific.  They are executed only when a part is ordered that is associated with the rules and is defined in the same plant as the rules.  For the parent part (the part ordered on the sales order line), the plant is determined by the sourcing company/warehouse.  The plant on lower level components is defined on the configured component (cc) rule.  Parts in different plants cannot share rules.
