Standard Bill of Material Default Part/Standard Routing Default Part
Standard Bill of Material Default Part/Standard Routing Default Part
When defining a manufactured configured part, a standard bill of material and standard routing default part can be associated with the part being defined.
The bill of material and routing for these parts will only be used to generate component requirements and/or labor requirements when manufacturing orders are created and a product reference code that uses standard component and/or labor requirements generation methods is also selected.
If a standard bill of material default part is not entered, the standard bill of material for the configured part is used when a product reference code of 0 or 1 is selected. If the standard bill of material of the configured part is not defined, and the standard bill of material default part is not entered, the manufacturing order will not be processed.
If a standard routing default part is not entered, the standard routing of the configured part is used when a product reference code of 0 or 2 is selected. If the standard routing of the configured part is not defined, and the standard routing default part is not entered, the manufacturing order will not be processed.
