Generating Outbound Transactions
The Electronic Data Interchange application sends MAC-PAC data to be processed at other sites. These transactions must be sent to an EDI compatible customer or vendor.
Similar processing is done for maintaining EDI transaction requests. Those transactions include: EDI purchase orders, EDI sales order acknowledgments, EDI shipments, and EDI invoices. Procedures for performing all of these functions are outlined below.
